1) A car travels 60 km in 2 hours. What is its speed in km/hr?

Solution:

To solve this question, you can use the formula:

Speed = Distance / Time

Distance = 60 km Time = 2 hours

Speed = 60 / 2 = 30 km/hr

Therefore, the car's speed is 30 km/hr.


2) A fruit seller has 100 oranges, out of which 30 are spoiled. What percentage of oranges are good?

To find the percentage of good oranges, we need to subtract the number of spoiled oranges from the total number of oranges, then divide that by the total number of oranges and multiply by 100.

Solution:

Number of good oranges = 100 - 30 = 70 Percentage of good oranges = (70/100) x 100 = 70%

Therefore, 70% of the oranges are good.
